These are all the cartoons I've done for TQ Zine from issue 21 way back in March 2019 up to present. There are also notes with each one. I've left the three latest cartoons off so people don't get to see them before they receive their copy of TQ, but they'll be added as time progresses.

TQ65+66 - THE CANTERBURY SCENE

It filled me with trepidation when I heard they were doing a Canterbury scene themed TQ. I know next to nothing about prog rock, let alone the individual idiosyncrasies of its subgenres. A little bit of research revealed the interesting names bands were giving themselves and it started me thinking where these names might have originated.

I was quite pleased with this cartoon, and I actually submitted it to a Canterbury scene Facebook page. I thought the proggers might like a chuckle, but it was rejected. They obviously didn't find it funny, or maybe they don't find things funny in general? Maybe it isn't funny anyway?

Remember the band Caravan?
