This is the second of the wordless strips inspired by George Martin's amazing Bunion cartoons from the 60s and 70s. Well, this one's almost wordless, although it does have the expression 'mmmf!' in it, but that doesn't count, surely. Of course, words on signs are allowed.
It involves the wonderful field recordist Kate Carr, head of the Flaming Pines label. I contacted her before publishing the strip to make sure it didn't offend or upset her in any way, and she was thankfully OK about it. Actually people genuinely seem quite chuffed about having cartoons done about them.
