These are all the cartoons I've done for TQ Zine from issue 21 way back in March 2019 up to present. There are also notes with each one. I've left the three latest cartoons off so people don't get to see them before they receive their copy of TQ, but they'll be added as time progresses.

TQ38 + 39 + 40 - TUSK 2020 FEATURING BLÓM

In 2020 Covid was still rife and the Tusk festival went online. Acts performed their music live which was streamed to the world.

The previous year my mate Stephen Withers and myself had gone up to The Star and Shadow to catch a bit of the Tusk Fringe, an after-hours bit of supplementary experimental fun for insomniacs. There we saw Blóm, and they absolutely blew us away with their fierce raw noise and female energy. Fast forward to 2020 and they did an online set for this Tusk virtual festival. The strip imagines a gremlin in the works preventing the stream from going out, but he's thwarted by the members of Blóm and their special powers.

Shaun Blezzard is the sound engineer featured, who is of course the founder of improvising collective Some Some Unicorn. Oh yes.
