These are all the cartoons I've done for TQ Zine from issue 21 way back in March 2019 up to present. There are also notes with each one. I've left the three latest cartoons off so people don't get to see them before they receive their copy of TQ, but they'll be added as time progresses.

TQ26 - TUSK FESTIVAL 2019

I fondly remember going to the wonderful Tusk festivals at The Sage in Gateshead (masterminded by Lee Etherington) and meeting lots of people who I'd previously only known vaguely online. Actually it was at a pre-Tusk event in a Newcastle art gallery that I first met Andy Wood.

In 2019 Magma were one of the headliners, and they primarily sing in a made up language called Kobaïan. But what if aliens monitoring transmissions from Earth could speak the language? What if they thought it was from members of their own race? What if they went down to investigate? What if... Well you get the picture.

The aliens actually look like The Sage itself with their silver segmented bodies. The spaceship coming in to land over the river (panel 7) is my favourite panel here.
